Snæfellsnes Peninsula Tour

Snæfellsnes is offen named „Miniature Iceland“ and you will see why as we travel through stunning landscapes of the peninsula.
You will see almost everything Iceland has to offer in one day, such as volcanic glaciers, lava fields, sand beaches, bird cliffs, lush valleys, small fishing villages and much more.

Arnarstapi, which is a small fishing village will be the first stop on our jouney.  It is a very typical and traditional Icelandic village and has a beautiful little harbor with small fishing vessels.  Arnarstapi will give you an insight into what everyday life is like in Iceland´s rural areas.

We will then travel a short distance to Hellnar which is also an ancient fishing village surrounded with columnar basalt cliffs.
We will continue our journey to the National Park and make a stop at Lóndrangar and injoy the spectacular landscapes.
Djúpalónssandur is know for it´s lava landscape and it has been describes as walking into a lava wonderland.
You will see the extraordinary shapes of the frozen lava, old ruins of a shipwreck and big boulders that people used to measure their strength with.  Of course we are going to make a stop at Kirkjufell, the most photographed mountain in Iceland.

These are just a few of the places you will see on this journey around the Snæfellsnes peninsula.
