Built over this geothermal area, the Laugarvatn Fontana Spa features geothermal steam rooms, hot pools, and outdoor mineral baths and a fantastic view over the lake, into which you can also jump if you feel like it.

After having a blast and relax at Laugarvatn Fontana Spa, the next stop is at Þingvellir National Park. Þingvellir National Park became a national park in 1930 and it is a wonderful place to explore. Rich for its history, beautiful thanks to its nature.
You will see amazing views, and while having a walk at Þingvellir you will find many interesting places. In 930 AD the first democratic parliament in the world was established in Þingvellir National Park, and it is functional until today. You won’t be disappointed by spending a moment of your life at Þingvellir National Park.
Gullfoss Waterfall
Gullfoss (Golden Falls) is a waterfall and gets its name from the golden color of its water as it churns up silt and sediment. Gullfoss is situated in the Hvítá river where water from the Langjökull glacier comes by. Gullfoss waterfall is 32 meters high, falling two tiers that are 11 and 21 meters high, respectively.
In the summertime, you can go extra close to the waterfall by itself, during the winter the beautiful colored winter icy waterfall is waiting for you. So it doesn’t matter during what season you are visiting it, it always gives you breathtaking memories. And if you feel like to eat or drink something, enjoy our 10% discount at Gullfoss café.
Geysir Geothermal area
Visiting Geysir Geothermal area might be a little bit smelly thanks to all geysers and boiling water, but it is a place you can’t miss. The most known and popular Geysir Strokkur erupts every 6 to 10 minutes and it is a show you will wait for not only once. Other boiling spots at Geysir Geothermal area are beautiful thanks to its clear and amazing colored water.
We also ask all visitors to pay respect to all areas and don’t go to places that are behind the marked lines. At Geysir Geothermal area there is a Glíma restaurant and great store Geysir, where you can have a moment to sit down and relax. Thanks to Icelandic geothermal waters, we can build all hot pools, swimming pools, we use it for geothermal energy and heating.
